Continuing its work implementing changes allowed by the “freedom agenda” adopted by the 2017 Legislature, the West Virginia University Board of Governors issued a notice of proposed rulemaking Tuesday (March 6) for an amended set of academic rules and one additional faculty rule.

The West Virginia Statewide Collegiate Business Plan Competition continues to make a significant impact on the state’s entrepreneurial landscape with 292 entries from 16 of the 29 West Virginia colleges and universities in the 2017-2018 competition.

Graduates planning to participate in commencement exercises must register with their school or college during the Spring 2018 semester.
