WVU honors those ‘most loyal’ during Mountaineer Week

The 2019 honorees are Robert "Bob" and Dorthea "Tia" McMillan, Most Loyal West Virginians; Rhonda Wade, Most Loyal Alumni; Kevin Berry, Most Loyal Faculty/Professional Staff; and Debbie Koon-Friel, Most Loyal Staff Mountaineer. The group will be recognized during the halftime ceremonies of the Saturday, Nov. 9 WVU-Texas Tech football game at Milan Puskar Stadium.

WVU Foundation captures prestigious MarCom awards

The West Virginia University Foundation’s Communications team won four awards in the 2019 international MarCom Awards, which recognizes outstanding creative achievement in the marketing and communications fields.

Third annual WVU Day of Giving set for Nov. 13

West Virginia University alumni and friends are being encouraged to make a gift to the University on Wednesday, Nov. 13, as part of the third annual WVU Day of Giving.

Encova Insurance Group makes first corporate gift for WVU’s Reynolds Hall

West Virginia University’s Brickstreet Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation will become the Encova Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation thanks to a generous donation from the Encova Mutual Insurance Group. The gift, which is for $2 million, is the first corporate gift made in the Building Beyond campaign, which officially launched Monday, and will provide a new home for the Encova Center within Reynolds Hall.

WVU business college launches campaign to bring new building to fruition

Beginning today (Sept. 9), the College kicks off its campaign, Building Beyond, which has to date raised more than $26 million of the $40 million needed in private support to ensure that WVU has a first-class facility for business education and research. The total project cost is estimated at $100 million.
