Mountaineer Colson Glover to receive flu shot, School of Pharmacy faculty member available for interviews

WHO and WHAT: West Virginia University Mountaineer Mascot Colson Glover and his father will bring awareness to the importance of flu prevention by receiving their flu shots from a WVU School of Pharmacy student pharmacist.   

WHEN: Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 4 p.m.

WHERE: Cook-Hayman Pharmacy Museum; First Floor, Robert C. Byrd Health Science Center-North. Morgantown, (located next to the WVU School of Pharmacy Dean’s Office).

NOTES: Student representatives from the WVU Chapter of the American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists will administer the vaccine. The photo op will be followed by WVU School of Pharmacy faculty member Dr. Gretchen Garofoli, who will be available for interviews regarding information on the flu and flu vaccines.
