Good times ahead with Gee during WVU Day at State Fair

WVU President Gordon Gee travels to the State Fair of West Virginia this week to celebrate the University’s deep roots throughout the Mountain State. Joining Gee are Jorge Atiles, dean and director of WVU Extension, Dr. Clay Marsh, chancellor and executive dean of WVU Health Sciences, and Mary Roush, the 68th Mountaineer Mascot.

West Virginia University kicks off Welcome Week with arrivals at residence halls this week followed by many events. Students will be immersed into campus life and culture by getting involved in upwards of four dozen activities designed to showcase life as a Mountaineer with academic, service and social elements highlighting the importance of working hard while having fun and serving the community.
