Good times ahead with Gee during WVU Day at State Fair

UPDATE 08/18/2022: President Gee’s planned trip to the State Fair of West Virginia today (Aug. 18) is canceled.

WHAT: WVU President Gordon Gee travels to the State Fair of West Virginia this week to celebrate the University’s deep roots throughout the Mountain State.  

WHO:  Joining Gee are Jorge Atiles, dean and director of WVU Extension, Dr. Clay Marsh, chancellor and executive dean of WVU Health Sciences, and Mary Roush, the 68th Mountaineer Mascot.  

WHERE: State Fair of West Virginia Fairgrounds, Lewisburg 

WHEN: Thursday, Aug. 18, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 

NOTES: Gee will participate in State Fair activities held in the WVU Building, visit the WVU Extension 4-H exhibits in the Cecil H. Underwood Youth Center and attend a luncheon celebrating farm families that make West Virginia a tremendous agricultural state.
