WHAT: The West Virginia University Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources is hosting students in grades K-12 from across West Virginia during Engineering Challenge Camps.
WHERE: 1306 Evansdale Drive, Morgantown
WHEN:
Elementary Challenge Camps — June 23-27, July 28 to Aug. 1
• Grades 1-3: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Grades 4-5: 1-5 p.m.
Middle School and High School Challenge Camps, June 23-27, July 7-11, July 21-25
• All camps run 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Virtual Mining and Explosives Camp, Grades 5-12, July 15-17
• Session 1: 10 a.m. to noon
• Session 2: 1-3 p.m.
NOTES: Engineering Challenge Camps provide opportunities for participating students to dive into the world of STEM and learn new concepts in robotics along with mechanical and aerospace, civil, computer science and electrical, mining, chemical and biomedical, industrial, and petroleum and natural gas engineering.
