Come hungry to WVU’s Organic Field Day

WHAT: West Virginia University Organic Field Day

WHO: Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design faculty, staff and students, WVU Extension Service

WHEN: Gates open at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27. Events begin at 2 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. 

WHERE: WVU Organic Research, Education and Outreach Center, Route 705, Morgantown.

From Interstate 68, take Exit 7 and travel west on Route 857 for one mile to Route 119; the second stop light. Stay straight onto Route 119 for 1.5 miles. Proceed to the roundabout and bear right onto Route 705. Look for the driveway on the left for the WVU Organic Research Farm.

NOTES: The day will include workshops, tours of research plots and hands-on activities, an organic dinner as well as a celebration of pioneering work in organic farming.
