WHAT: West Virginia University will welcome home new and returning students with Welcome Week events across the Morgantown Campus from Aug. 14-22.
WHO: Students will have opportunities to participate in activities and events that showcase Mountaineer life with academic, social and service elements to help them make a home on campus while having fun.

Key Events
Thursday, Aug. 14, to Saturday, Aug. 16
• Residence hall move-ins, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 17
• Sunday Night Lights — Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for first-year students at Milan Puskar Stadium. Following on-field activities, the pre-show will begin at 8 p.m. ahead of the main event at 8:30 p.m. which includes a performance from the Mountaineer Marching Band and the official “Class of 2029” photo. * The clear bag policy will be enforced.
Monday, Aug. 18
• FallFest — Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for all students at the Rec Center Fields. Performances begin at 7 p.m.
* The clear bag policy will be enforced.
WVU Arts and Entertainment will announce FallFest performers on Aug. 15.
NOTE: Media members seeking FallFest credentials are required to RSVP to Kristie Stewart Gale, marketing and advertising manager for Arts and Entertainment, via email at Kristie.Stewart-Gale@mail.wvu.edu by 5 p.m. Friday (Aug. 15).
Tuesday, Aug. 19
• Student Organization Fair — 3-5 p.m. for all students at the Student Recreation Center.
• Mountaineer Movie Night — Gates open at 7:30 p.m. for all students, faculty, staff and their families at Milan Puskar Stadium. The movie begins at 8:30 p.m.
