West Virginia University will welcome Assistant Secretary of Energy Audrey Robertson from the Office of Critical Minerals and Energy Innovation to the WVU Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources on Sept. 29.
On Sept. 15, West Virginia University Institute of Technology President T. Ramon Stuart will announce a new scholarship program for high-achieving southern West Virginia students, supported by a major gift from Larry and Lisa Pack.
WVU President Michael T. Benson will discuss his goals and initiatives for the second year of his presidency during his State of the University address to the Faculty Assembly on Sept. 14. Putting a focus on the University’s academic mission, he will be joined by Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Beverly Wendland.
West Virginia University will recognize the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks with a vigil and memorial ceremony on the Downtown area of campus.
