WHERE: Event Hall, West Virginia University College of Law, 101 Law School Dr., Morgantown

NOTES: Admission is free and open to the public. “Mountaineers Are Always Free” explores the history and potent symbolism of the iconic West Virginia University Mountaineer. Hathaway is an associate professor of English and will lead a discussion about the Mountaineer with Travis Stimeling, associate professor of music, and Emily Hilliard of the West Virginia Folklife Program.
