WHAT: The 2020 Bob Huggins Fish Fry
Proceeds from ticket sales and auctions benefit the Remember the Miners Scholarship Fund and the Norma Mae Huggins Endowment Fund, which supports clinical trials at the WVU Cancer Institute.
WHO: WVU Men’s Basketball Coach Bob Huggins, WVU basketball great Rod Thorn, a former NBA player and executive who now serves as senior adviser to Washington Wizards General Manager Tommy Sheppard, other sports legends and more than 1,400 expected attendees
WHEN: The event is from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24. Coach Huggins, cancer survivor Angie Blankenship and representatives of Remember the Miners can be available for interviews at 5 p.m. with prior notice from any interested media outlets.
WHERE: Mylan Park Event Center
NOTES: Rod Thorn will not be available for media interviews.
Media attending the event should park in the large lot next to the venue.
