Gee tells newest WVU graduates success comes from knowing themselves

More than 2,600 West Virginia University graduates participating in two Commencement ceremonies today (Dec. 17) were encouraged to hold fast to values forged as Mountaineers and tap into their unique strengths to live successful lives fueled by purpose.

West Virginia native returns home to serve as WVU Tech campus president

A West Virginia University graduate and accomplished university administrator, including as a president and provost, will return to the Mountain State as the next campus president at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. T. Ramon Stuart, originally from Welch, begins in this role on Jan. 1.

WVU Board of Governors tackles student success, budget adjustments

The University is also designing a new budget model which will focus on revenue generating units that allocates revenue and expenses more clearly and is aligned with WVU’s strategic objectives. The FY24 budget will be based on the new model and factor in the state’s new higher education funding formula.
