WVU BOG meeting reports signal long-term success and stability

In a presentation to the WVU Board of Governors during its regular meeting Friday (Nov. 22), WVU Foundation President and CEO Cindi Roth detailed the impact of new gifts and pledges totaling more than $282 million in fiscal year 2024.

WVU to celebrate Appalachian heritage during Mountaineer Week

West Virginia University celebrates its rich Appalachian roots each year with a week of activities that showcases music, food, and arts and crafts from the Appalachian region. Mountaineer Week, now in its 77th year, begins Monday (Nov. 11) and continues through Sunday, Nov. 17.

35th annual WVU Pumpkin Drop brings gourds and glory to campus

Over 1,000 K-12 students vied for victory at the 35th annual Pumpkin Drop hosted by the West Virginia University Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. This year’s competition — held Friday (Oct. 25) — included 242 teams from 58 schools across West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
