WVU’s annual Clery Act report now available

The most recent Clery Act report for West Virginia University shows instances of robbery decreased in 2019 compared to the previous year, reported burglaries remain flat and an uptick in arrests for liquor law and drug abuse violations, as well as an increase in reported rape and fondling offenses.

WVU to hold online commencement ceremonies Dec. 19

Bringing together families, friends and fellow classmates from across the country and around the world to celebrate the August and December Classes of 2020, West Virginia University will host 14 online commencement ceremonies for the 2,680 graduates on Saturday, Dec.19.

No spectators for December basketball games

The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, in conjunction with University, local and state officials, has determined that December men's and women's home basketball games will take place without spectators in the WVU Coliseum.

Mountaineer Week 2020 to be held online Nov. 8-14

It may look a little different this year, but Mountaineer Week, West Virginia University’s annual celebration of Appalachian culture will take place Nov. 8-14. The 73rd celebration will offer a variety of activities, mainly geared toward WVU students, on the Morgantown campus and online.
