The Starbucks location at The Market @ UPlace temporarily closed today (Oct. 15) after West Virginia University was notified of a COVID-19 exposure at the storefront. WVU immediately implemented its safety protocols, initiating a deep cleaning of the space. Starbucks plans to reopen on Sunday, Oct. 25.

Hatfields at the Mountainlair temporarily closed today (Sept. 20) after West Virginia University was notified of a COVID-19 exposure at the dining hall. The University immediately implemented its safety protocols, initiating a deep cleaning of the space. Hatfields is expected to reopen at 4:30 p.m. today for dinner service.

The Hugh Baby’s location at Evansdale Crossing temporarily closed today (Sept. 14) after West Virginia University was notified of a COVID-19 exposure at the storefront.
The Starbucks location at The Market @ UPlace will reopen on Sept. 18. The location was temporarily closed on Sept. 2, following a COVID-19 exposure at the storefront. The location underwent a deep cleaning after the exposure and has been deemed safe to reopen. Beginning Sept. 18, Starbucks will resume normal hours of operation (7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday).
West Virginia University released updated Return to Campus information today (Aug. 11). A Return to Campus Conversation will also be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13 where senior administrators will continue to answer questions and address concerns.
West Virginia University students will have a phased return to the Morgantown campus that includes a later class start date (Aug. 26) and hybrid or online delivery for upper division undergraduate courses, President Gordon Gee announced in a letter to the WVU community today (July 27).
West Virginia University Dean of Students Corey Farris outlined in a letter to students today (July 21) the precautions the University will take and students will be expected to take as they return to campus Aug. 19.
