Tickets for West Virginia's appearance in the 2016 Russell Athletic Bowl on Wednesday, December 28, at Camping World Stadium (65,000) in Orlando, Florida, are now on sale on a priority basis to 2016 Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) members and football season ticket holders at WVUGAME.com. MAC members and season ticket holders should login to their online account to place priority ticket requests.

Mountaineers to Play in Russell Athletic Bowl

he No. 16 West Virginia Mountaineers (10-2, 7-2 Big 12) and the Miami Hurricanes (8-4, 5-3 ACC) will play in the 2016 Russell Athletic Bowl. Florida Citrus Sports’ Chairman Harold Mills and CEO Steve Hogan announced the matchup today on behalf of the organization’s Team Selection Committee. The game will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28 at Camping World Stadium and will be televised nationally by ESPN.

Effort under way to bring Go Baby Go program to WVU

The program aims to provide modified, ride-on cars for children with disabilities to increase their independence in moving around and exploring their environments while having fun.

Lyons announces Holgorsen contract extension

West Virginia University Director of Athletics Shane Lyons has announced a contract extension for football head coach Dana Holgorsen, putting him under contract with the Mountaineers for the next five years.

PRT will close at 6 p.m. today (Dec 2)

The PRT will end passenger service today (Dec. 2) at 6 p.m. due to some unforeseen operational issues. Regular passenger service will resume at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday for football gameday. However, Walnut station will remain closed and normal operations will resume Dec. 5.

WVU student to compete in national 'Real' Elevator Pitch Competition

The term elevator pitch is being made literal at the national "Real" Elevator Pitch Competition in St. Louis, Missouri this weekend?and West Virginia University student Anthony Braxton will be there, proposing an urban farm that will benefit economically disadvantaged neighborhoods to provide communities both healthy food and hope for the future.
