WVU to host Research Week

West Virginia University will celebrate the University’s standing as an R1 institution, and its volume and caliber of research during the sixth annual Research Week from April 1-5.

WVU invites community to solar eclipse event

West Virginia University will host a community solar eclipse viewing on April 8, offering an opportunity for people of all ages to experience the rare partial eclipse alongside astronomers. The free event is scheduled for 1:30-4:30 p.m. on the Mountainlair Green.

WVU medical students to learn residency placements during Match Day

On Friday (March 15), more than 100 West Virginia University School of Medicine graduating medical students across three campuses — Morgantown, Charleston, Eastern — will participate in what is a national day of celebration when fourth-year medical students find out where they will spend the next several years training as resident physicians.

WVU Davis College to host entomology conference, free community event

The West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design will host “Bringing Focus to the Unseen,” the 2024 Entomological Society of America Eastern Branch Conference March 9-12, as well as a community outreach event called “It’s a Bug’s World” Sunday (March 10) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Evansdale Campus.
