WVU to host Holocaust survivor Maud Dahme

West Virginia University will welcome Holocaust survivor Maud Dahme to campus to share her story during a public event Nov. 19 that is being held in conjunction with this year’s Campus Read.

WVU, Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College to unveil WVU Degree Up program

West Virginia University and Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College will join forces to unveil WVU Degree Up — a first-of-its-kind program in West Virginia designed to make it easier for community and technical college students to transition from an associate’s degree to a bachelor’s degree. Southern will be the inaugural partner to launch the program with WVU.

WVU Statler College to host Pumpkin Drop

The West Virginia University Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources will welcome students and teachers from across West Virginia Friday (Oct. 25) for the 35th annual Pumpkin Drop, a design competition that puts students’ engineering concepts to the test as they compete with gourds of glory.
