WHAT: Nearly 4,500 West Virginia University students are expected to graduate in four in-person ceremonies with COVID-19 protocols in effect.
WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, May 15-16; ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day
WHERE: WVU’s Milan Puskar Stadium, Morgantown Campus
WHO: WVU President Gordon Gee, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Maryanne Reed, Vice President and Executive Dean for Health Sciences Dr. Clay Marsh and Dr. Patrice Harris, a three-time WVU alumna, current Board of Governors member and first African American woman to be chair of the American Medical Association’s Board of Trustees.
The University will also present honorary doctorates to Mike John, Robert “Bob” Orders, Ann Magnuson and Ken Sullivan. Read more about the honorees and ceremonies at WVUToday.
Credentials and Access: Videographers, photographers and reporters MUST request a credential by Friday, May 7 in order to attend Commencement.

Parking and Check-in: Parking for media will be in the Brown Lot. A parking pass will be provided via email along with approved event credential.
Videographers, photographers and reporters should check in at the South East Entrance of Milan Puskar Stadium before proceeding to the designated media section within the venue (which will be limited due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols).
Note: Each ceremony will also be livestreamed. The webcast link will go live a few minutes prior to ceremony time.
