WHAT: The West Virginia Public Education Collaborative will host its second annual West Virginia Legislators’ Forum on Education and the Economy, an event designed to engage legislators on how best to address the current landscape of public education in West Virginia.
WHEN: 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., Thursday (Nov. 2)
WHERE: Charleston Marriott Town Center, 2nd Floor, Salon B, Charleston
Using West Virginia Forward as a lens, policy experts, corporate leaders and educational practitioners will discuss the state’s economic opportunities and challenges and the need to promote workforce development through diversification of opportunities and pathways in statewide public education.
