The West Virginia University Foundation honored donors whose planned gifts over the past year will provide for the future of the University. The Irvin Stewart Society welcomed 58 new members during its 25th luncheon April 5 at Blaney House hosted by WVU President Gordon Gee.

Amy Welsh, associate professor of wildlife and fisheries resources in the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Design at West Virginia University, has been named the recipient of the 2018-2019 James and Karen Caveney Alumni Association Faculty Excellence Award.

Given their popularity, the West Virginia University Extension Service is teaming up with the Polaris Foundation to improve safe riding practices and help reduce injuries and accidents.
