WVU Board of Governors receives facilities plan update

Meeting between commencement exercises for the largest December graduating class in West Virginia University’s 150-year history, the Board of Governors received an update on its current master facilities plan Friday (Dec. 15), with a look ahead to a refreshing of the plan through 2022.

West Virginia University took center stage in Beijing, China, over the weekend, as Vaike Haas, assistant professor of landscape architecture , was honored for her exemplary work by the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture, the premier international organization for landscape architecture educators.

Author and environmental steward to offer this year’s Davis-Michael Distinguished Lecture

The West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design will welcome Larry Nielsen, professor of natural resources at North Carolina State University, as this year’s Davis-Michael Distinguished Lecturer. Nielsen will present “What do the great conservationists of the past and present have to say to us today” at 11 a.m. April, 4, in G06 Agricultural Sciences Building.
