The West Virginia University Board of Governors approved several measures during a special meeting on Friday (March 5) as the University continues efforts to successfully navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and plan for the future.
West Virginia University announced Wednesday (March 3) in a Community Notice that the Waldo’s Chicken location at Evansdale Crossing has temporarily closed after WVU was notified of a COVID-19 exposure at the storefront.

The adjusted hours of operation for next week are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The storefront will be closed on Saturday, Feb. 20, and Sunday, Feb. 21. Thursday was previously designated as a non-instructional date on the academic calendar. As a result, no classes were scheduled.
