Grow This plants seed that ignites WVU student’s passion for natural dyes and textiles

West Virginia University graduate student Cassandra Stewart is the perfect example of how planting a seed can lead to more growth than expected. Seeds from WVU Extension’s Grow This program inspired Stewart, a student in the WVU Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, to make textiles using natural dyes from flowers she grew.

WVU Baseball facility renamed Kendrick Family Ballpark

The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, in conjunction with the WVU Foundation, has announced a generous gift from Ken Kendrick, Arizona Diamondbacks owner and WVU alumnus, to support the WVU Baseball program. The gift includes the renaming of Monongalia County Ballpark. The facility now will be known as Kendrick Family Ballpark at the Monongalia County Baseball Complex.
