Nominations are now open for the 2018 class of the College of Business and Economics Roll of Distinguished Alumni at West Virginia University. Individuals interested in submitting a nomination may do so through June 1.
This year’s inductees will be honored at an Oct. 5 luncheon during WVU Homecoming Weekend at the Erickson Alumni Center on the Evansdale Campus. The Roll of Distinguished Alumni was founded during the business school’s 60th anniversary year in 2011. New members are added each year to recognize the success of outstanding B&E graduates.
“The WVU College of Business and Economics has more than 27,000 alumni around the globe who are doing remarkable things – leading astounding careers in various industries and making their marks on the world,” said Javier Reyes, B&E Milan Puskar Dean. “We experience so many moments of pride as our graduates accomplish their dreams and become leaders in their fields. It is our honor to commemorate the successes of our B&E alumni through the Roll of Distinguished Alumni.”
A total of 35 B&E graduates have been inducted since the establishment of the annual event. Last year’s five inductees were Armando Anido, chairman and CEO of Zynerba Pharmaceuticals; Lee Bakalarski, independent consultant for Big Four accounting firms; Kim Craig, president and CEO of F.N.B. Wealth Management; Royce Harworth Keller, former chief financial officer of the board for CLG; and Rodney Williams, CEO and co-founder of LISNR.
Nominees must have graduated from the College of Business and Economics, must be at least 10 years post-degree, and must have distinguished themselves by success in business or life at the regional, national or international level.
