In recognition of their compassion in the practice of medicine, 15 medical students, four residents and two faculty members were inducted into the West Virginia University School of Medicine’s chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society at a ceremony held on Sat., June 3 at the WVU Health Sciences Center.
The WVU team, made up of students from the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, the Reed College of Media and the College of Business and Economics, headed to Milford, Michigan, to the General Motors Milford Proving Grounds where they underwent a series of safety and technical inspections including dynamic safety, acceleration and performance testing and energy consumption events.
