The West Virginia University Alumni Association San Diego Chapter has launched its newest form of support for West Virginia University students with the establishment of the ‘WVU Alumni Association San Diego Chapter Scholarship.’

The $25,000 scholarship will be offered to any undergraduate student who is currently enrolled at WVU, living in either San Diego or Orange counties in California.

“This chapter scholarship only advances the work and mission of the West Virginia University Alumni Association to be able to provide support to our graduates and alumni worldwide,” says WVU Alumni Association President, Sean Frisbee. “We’re so thankful for the San Diego Chapter’s dedication to both the University and the Alumni Association as a whole.”

The WVU Alumni Association has more than 100 chapters and constituent groups located around the world. For a full list of chapter locations, visit alumni.wvu.edu.

This gift was made in conjunction with A State of Minds: The Campaign for West Virginia’s University which runs through December 2017.
