The sixth-seeded West Virginia University women’s basketball team couldn’t overcome a second quarter run by No. 3-seed Maryland, as the Mountaineers fell, 83-56, to the Terrapins in the NCAA Championship Second Round on Sunday at the XFINITY Center.

The NCAA has announced that WVU’s game time against Notre Dame in the second round of the NCAA Tournament will tip at 12:10 p.m. on Saturday (March 18) on CBS.
