WVU Mountaineer Marching Band to hold ribbon-cutting ceremony for new practice site

WHAT: Celebrating a major milestone, the West Virginia University Mountaineer Marching Band will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Pride Practice Facility which will benefit generations of Mountaineers.

WHO: University President Michael T. Benson, WVU College of Creative Arts and Media Philip J. Faini/Falbo Family Dean Keith Jackson, School of Music Director of Bands Scott Tobias, Director of Athletic Bands Cheldon Williams, band members, alumni, donors and other supporters

WHEN: Friday, Aug. 29, 4-4:30 p.m.

WHERE: WVU Med Fields next to Mountaineer Station, Chestnut Ridge Road, Morgantown

NOTES: The ceremony will celebrate the completion of Phase 1 of the Pride Practice Facility, including the turf practice field. The event is free and open to the public.
