NOTES: 

This is the second in a series of events to examine how West Virginia can become the epicenter of the nation’s expanding private weather industry. Innovators in all sectors, from agriculture, retail, FinTech, the stock market and even municipalities, can find their niche in this multibillion-dollar industry. 

Business leaders, tech experts and research scientists who have used NOAA data in innovative and entrepreneurial ways will discuss how to build the right skillsets and team to succeed.

A hands-on design thinking workshop will also be offered to help stimulate innovative ideas, hone business and management skills and learn more about problem solving using NOAA datasets.
