WHAT: WV Women Moving Forward virtual summit to discuss women’s economic issues in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and how West Virginians can take a shared responsibility for meaningful, lasting change.

WHEN: Monday, Sept. 14, 9 a.m. to noon 

WHO: Hadeel Anabtawi, Tom Barkin, Gene Barr, Gloria Blackwell, Emily Calandrelli, Francesca Donner, Gordon Gee, Jerome Gilbert and Steve Roberts

WHERE: Register for the online event.

NOTES: National and statewide trailblazers along with key supporters of economic equity will dial in to balancing work, education, dependent care and family needs. Workforce flexibility and the need to address equal pay for equal work will also be discussed.

West Virginia Women Moving Forward, West Virginia University, Marshall University, The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation will host the event.
