WHO and WHAT: West Virginia University Mountaineer Mascot Timmy Eads will help WVU School of Pharmacy students bring awareness to flu prevention by getting his flu shot in his buckskins.
WHEN: Wednesday (Oct. 2), 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: Cook-Hayman Pharmacy Museum; First Floor, Robert C. Byrd Health Science Center-North. Morgantown, (located next to the WVU School of Pharmacy Dean’s Office).
NOTES: Student representatives from the WVU Chapter of the American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists will administer the vaccine. WVU School of Pharmacy faculty member, Dr. Gretchen Garofoli will be available for interviews regarding information on the flu and flu vaccines.
