WVU Extension Service breaks ground on new STEM educational center at WVU Jackson’s Mill

WHO: Dean Steven Bonanno, WVU Extension Service; B. J. Davisson, II, executive vice president, WVU Foundation; donor Howard Boggs; other dignitaries

WHAT: The WVU Extension Service will break ground on the 6,000-square-foot Annette S. Boggs Educational Center at WVU Jackson’s Mill. This education center will expand educational and outreach opportunities for children throughout West Virginia, including hands-on STEM activities and programming.  

WHEN: March 28 at 11:30 a.m. (groundbreaking), followed by a reception in the West Virginia Building

WHERE: WVU Jackson’s Mill, 160 Jackson Mill Rd., Weston

Additional Information: 

Members of the media are welcome to attend the event. Bonanno and Boggs will be available to media for comments immediately following the groundbreaking.
