Art Museum of WVU to host three-year anniversary celebration

WHO: Art Museum of West Virginia University

WHAT: The museum will celebrate three years since its opening with a variety of activities for the whole family and access to the museum’s exhibitions.

WHERE:  The corner of Patteson Drive and Morrill Way, on WVU’s Evansdale Campus. Parking is available near the museum in short term parking lots.

WHEN:  Saturday (Aug. 25) from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

“The Art Museum of WVU has become a cultural and educational force in our community, and our third birthday party is a welcome opportunity for folks to visit the Museum and Nath Sculpture Garden, see the art on display, and have children engage in a variety fun and artistic activities,” said Bernie Schultz, interim co-director of the museum.
