WVU student competing for international Schwarzman Scholarship

Colin Lopez, a recent West Virginia University graduate, has been named a semi-finalist for the Schwarzman Scholarship, a program that prepares global leaders through a one-year master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, one of China’s most prestigious universities.

Burgess, Lusk named 2017 WVU Mr. and Ms. Mountaineer

West Virginia University has named Garrett Burgess and Savannah Lusk the 2017 Mr. and Ms. Mountaineer. A Mountaineer Week tradition, the award recognizes student’s exemplary academic achievement and extracurricular involvement.

WVU approves three-week, online winter term

West Virginia University students who want to lighten their regular term class load, or just get a few credits ahead, will be able to do so under a new winter term approved unanimously by the Board of Governors Friday (Oct. 27).

WVU releases May 2018 Commencement Ceremony Information

West Virginia University’s May 2018 graduates will be honored during Commencement weekend, May 11-13. Graduates planning to participate in commencement exercises must register with their school or college during the Spring 2018 semester. 2017 WVU Mr. and Ms. Mountaineer candidates named as part of Mountaineer Week, Oct. 20-29

West Virginia University has announced the finalists for Mr. and Ms. Mountaineer 2017, an award that recognizes students’ exemplary academic achievement and extracurricular involvement.
