Retired WVU professors establish scholarships to enhance student experience

Drs. Lynne and Andy Ostrow understand the value of education. As West Virginia University faculty members, the duo each spent 35 years helping students achieve their dreams at the University. Now, they are taking that passion for education one step further by providing $50,000 for scholarships at WVU.

Schultz Planned Gift supports educational programs at Art Museum of WVU

Art historians Bernie and Cookie Schultz of Morgantown, who are long-time members of the West Virginia University community with close ties to the College of Creative Arts and the Honors College, have established a $25,000 Planned Gift through the WVU Foundation to support the Art Museum of WVU.

Statler, Heywood named to WVU Board of Governors

Thomas A. Heywood, a Charleston attorney and civic leader, and Benjamin M. Statler, a retired energy executive and renowned philanthropist, have been named to the West Virginia University Board of Governors by Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin.
