College of Media receives largest planned gift in history

The West Virginia University Reed College of Media is in an optimistic “State of Mind” after receiving its largest planned gift ever. A journalism alumna who wishes to remain anonymous has pledged $700,000 to the College through a planned estate gift. The bequest is part of “A State of Minds: The Campaign for West Virginia University.”

WVU alumnus 'pays it forward,' establishes endowed scholarship for undergraduate students

West Virginia University alumnus Ralph Glover, Jr., believes in “paying it forward” when it comes to helping WVU students. To this end, he has established the Ralph Glover Forestry Scholarship, an endowed fund that will support undergraduate students enrolled in the WVU Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design’s Division of Forestry and Natural Resources.
