According to the most recent Clery Report for West Virginia University, instances of dating violence, stalking, destruction of property and arrests for drug and alcohol law violations on the Morgantown campus decreased in 2018 compared to prior years.

WVU receives national recognition for LGBTQ+ outreach and student engagement

For three consecutive years, BestColleges, in partnership with Campus Pride, has named WVU one of the “Best Colleges for LGBTQ Students” for inclusive programming and outreach efforts in an educational environment. In addition, the Center’s director and professor of Women’s and Gender Studies, Cris Mayo, has been named a recipient of the regional 2019 LGBTQ Leadership Award from the National Diversity Council.

WVU plans Friday bell-ringing ceremony

West Virginia University will hold a bell-ringing ceremony, coordinated by the Office of Campus and Community Life and Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity, on Friday (Sept. 6) in remembrance of students Delaney Wykle and Makenzie Deditch.

WVU PRT resumes operation Thursday
