WVU Eberly College faculty member recognized with Professor of the Year award

Erin Goodykoontz, teaching professor in the West Virginia University Eberly College School of Mathematical and Data Sciences, has been named the 2023 Professor of the Year by the Faculty Merit Foundation of West Virginia. The award is given annually to instructors working in the state’s public and private colleges to recognize their innovation and creativity in teaching.

WVU Board of Governors selects WittKieffer to assist presidential search

A national firm with more than 50 years of experience will partner with the West Virginia University Board of Governors in its search for a new University president. The BOG announced during a special meeting Wednesday (May 29) that it chose WittKieffer which has conducted more than 145 presidential and chancellor searches over the past five years.

WVU Potomac State College student named Catamounts Climb Higher award recipient

Kiari Davis, an animal science major from Delray, was presented with the Catamounts Climb Higher award by Interim Campus President Paul Kreider at West Virginia University Potomac State College for her campus and community involvement and track record of overcoming obstacles as a first-time college student.
