Gee outlines vision for WVU as the modern land-grant university

During his State of the University remarks at the Erickson Alumni Center on Monday (Oct. 23), West Virginia University President Gordon Gee said difficult but necessary decisions have put WVU in a position to invest and innovate, thus setting the University on a course to become the modern land-grant university of the future.

A celebration of past moments and the creation of new Homecoming memories culminated at West Virginia University Saturday (Oct. 21) with the crowning of Romeo Mitchell Jr. and Olivia Quarrick as the 2023 Homecoming Royalty during halftime at the football game against Oklahoma State University.

WVU joins BRAIN Center to advance technology for neurological disorders

West Virginia University plans to offer a novel physician-engineer program that will include training in clinical and technical leadership in preparation for the emerging field of neural engineering as part of a consortium of other universities to help improve the care and rehabilitation of people with neurological disorders.

WVU releases last set of final recommendations for programs under review

The West Virginia University Office of the Provost announced the final recommendations on Tuesday (Sept. 5) from the last three appeals hearings held as part of the Academic Transformation program portfolio review process, including those for Resource Economics and Management, Public Administration, and Design and Community Development.
