The transportable lactation suite is currently located at the Coliseum’s Mountaineer Gate and will be moved to Milan Puskar Stadium’s North Entrance each football season. WVU employees may use the pod all year.
West Virginia University has named Wren Baker as its next vice president and director of Intercollegiate Athletics. Baker comes to Morgantown from the University of North Texas where he has been the vice president and athletics director since 2016.

Recognized for their exemplary academic achievement and extracurricular involvement, Matthew Hudson, Giana Loretta, Sonia-Frida Ndifon, Trevor Swiger and Callyn Zeigler have been named the West Virginia University 2022 Mountaineers of Distinction, a Mountaineer Week tradition.
The University is also designing a new budget model which will focus on revenue generating units that allocates revenue and expenses more clearly and is aligned with WVU’s strategic objectives. The FY24 budget will be based on the new model and factor in the state’s new higher education funding formula.
During the 75th Mountaineer Week at West Virginia University, a lawyer, CEO, associate dean and executive administrative assistant who have all shown tremendous commitment to WVU will be honored as 2022’s “Most Loyal.”
Set for Nov. 7-13, the week pays homage to West Virginia University’s Appalachian roots with musical performances, art demonstrations, food tastings and more.
An expanded week of Homecoming activities filled with school pride and tradition culminated at West Virginia University Saturday (Oct. 29) with the crowning of Morgan Griffith and Paige McElroy as the 2022 Homecoming Royalty.
