In an era when arguing with strangers in the comments sections is the norm, it's good to remember to laugh every once in a while, said West Virginia University President Gordon Gee in his latest Gee Mail.
“I have always been a big believer in taking your work seriously but not taking yourself too seriously,” Gee said.
“Even more so, humor is desperately needed in this day and age when everyone on social media is angry and political discourse is far from civil.”
To exhibit his tendency for the lighter side, Gee reflects on four years' worth of bloopers and outtakes from his Gee Mail tapings.
“Remember: Laughter is the antidote for life’s woes.”
