WVU to continue normal operations today, students and employees urged to use caution during inclement weather

Several University officials have consulted on the condition of campus roads and grounds as well as conditions in the vicinity. While roads and sidewalks may have been plowed and treated, they will remain icy in spots. Be sure to drive slow, allow extra time and use caution. Students and employees are reminded to use their own good judgment before venturing out.

Football announces change in future schedule

West Virginia University Director of Athletics Shane Lyons and Pitt Director of Athletics Heather Lyke have announced the "Backyard Brawl" football game in 2022 at Heinz Field will be moved to Sept. 3 and will be the season opener for both schools.

WVU plans Friday bell-ringing ceremony

West Virginia University will hold a bell-ringing ceremony, coordinated by the Office of Campus and Community Life and Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity, on Friday (Jan. 19) in remembrance of student Alana Sulick.

Deborah Magyar is the new West Virginia Small Business Development Center business coach at B&E, an addition WVU’s business school dean said reaffirms a dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and transforming the business landscape across the state.

New program established to enhance leadership skills in WVU Davis College students

This spring, high-achieving freshmen in the West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design will be offered a chance to become part of new program designed to enhance their leadership skills and career preparedness.The Davis- Michael Sustainability Fellows Program will offer transformational learning opportunities to exceptional students across all disciplines in the college.
