Football Names Ed Pastilong MVP Award Winners

West Virginia University football coach Dana Holgorsen has announced that redshirt seniors Justin Arndt and Tyler Orlosky have been named the recipients of the Ed Pastilong MVP Award for the 2016 season.

West Virginia University Libraries’ West Virginia & Regional History Center is seeking copies of or information about three African-American newspapers published in the early 20th century in Huntington in an effort to preserve their content through the National Digital Newspaper Program.

College of Media receives largest planned gift in history

The West Virginia University Reed College of Media is in an optimistic “State of Mind” after receiving its largest planned gift ever. A journalism alumna who wishes to remain anonymous has pledged $700,000 to the College through a planned estate gift. The bequest is part of “A State of Minds: The Campaign for West Virginia University.”

WVU plans Friday bell-ringing ceremony

West Virginia University will hold a bell-ringing ceremony, coordinated by the Office of Student Life and Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity, on Friday (Jan. 20) in remembrance of student Zachary Menas.
