WVU's PRT system will be closed for testing Saturday (Dec. 2).
The West Virginia University Personal Rapid Transit system will be closed to passenger service Saturday (Dec. 2) to accommodate phase II modernization testing.
The University will provide bus support during this closure. Buses will operate on a continuous loop from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to all PRT locations except for Walnut Street.
As part of this modernization effort, this scheduled PRT closure will provide additional time for the vendor to meet key milestone targets before the holidays.
