The Art Museum of West Virginia University its adjusted hours for the holiday break, Dec. 19-Jan. 3.
Visitors will have their last opportunity to view the exhibitions “Independent Vision: Self-taught Artists from Appalachia” and Studio Window: The Prints of Grace Martin Taylor through Sunday, Dec. 18.
The museum will be closed during the weeks of Dec. 19 and 26 and will reopen Jan. 4.
The museum’s regular hours are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Thursday 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Groups may also schedule special tours by appointment. Admission is free.
The Art Museum is located near the corner of Patteson Drive and Morrill Way at the Evansdale Campus North Entrance.
Parking is available in two new short-term lots with pay stations, one located near Patteson Drive and the other near the new Evansdale Crossing building.
