WVU Davis College to host entomology conference, free community event

The West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design will host “Bringing Focus to the Unseen,” the 2024 Entomological Society of America Eastern Branch Conference March 9-12, as well as a community outreach event called “It’s a Bug’s World” Sunday (March 10) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Evansdale Campus.

WVU Statler College to host second annual VEX Robotics Competition

The West Virginia University Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources will host the Mountaineer VEX Robotics Competition for the second year in a row, gathering student teams from across the U.S. and Canada to design and build robots to compete and sharpen their engineering skills.

Nine cadets to commission through WVU Army ROTC

The West Virginia University Army ROTC Mountaineer Battalion will commission nine cadets as second lieutenants during the Fall Commissioning Ceremony Thursday (Dec. 14).

WVU to mark anniversary of Pearl Harbor attacks

The West Virginia University Center for Veteran, Military and Family Programs will mark the anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor and honor the lives lost on that fateful day during a Pearl Harbor Day ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 7) on the Downtown Campus.
