WVU to host inaugural Governor’s Computer Science Institute

West Virginia University will host nearly 50 high school students for the first Governor’s Computer Science Institute, encouraging the exploration of computer science and the vast opportunities in the computing field among rising sophomores and juniors.

WVU Statler College to host engineering challenge camps

School students in grades K-12 from across West Virginia will continue their education and explore STEM concepts at West Virginia University by attending one of several Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources 2023 Engineering Challenge Camps this summer.

WVU to host ‘Focus on Fentanyl’ symposium

West Virginia University will host “Focus on Fentanyl: West Virginia’s Response to the Deadliest Drug,” an educational symposium organized by the Mountaineer Fentanyl Education Task Force and U.S. Attorney Bill Ihlenfeld, on April 13.

WVU Extension to dedicate Jackson’s Mill educational center

West Virginia University Extension will hold a building dedication for the Annette S. Boggs Educational Center, a 6,000-square-foot facility that is home to year-round programming and hands-on activities with a focus on science, technology, engineering, art and math.
