WVU to celebrate graduates during first Commencement for President Benson

WHAT: Marking a Mountaineer milestone, hundreds of West Virginia University graduates will participate in two December Commencement ceremonies. 

WHO: August and December University graduates, President Michael T. Benson, Chancellor and Executive Dean for Health Sciences Dr. Clay Marsh, Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Paul Kreider, college and school leaders  

WHERE: WVU Hope Coliseum, 3450 Monongahela Blvd., Morgantown 

WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 20, 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.  

9 a.m. 
School of Public Health 
School of Pharmacy 
School of Nursing 
School of Medicine 
School of Dentistry 
John Chambers College of Business and Economics 
Davis College of Agriculture and Natural Resources 
Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources 

Watch the 9 a.m. ceremony. 
 
2 p.m. 
Eberly College of Arts and Sciences 
College of Law 
College of Creative Arts and Media 
College of Applied Human Sciences 

Watch the 2 p.m. ceremony. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Tickets are not required to attend the ceremonies. The Clear Bag Policy will be in effect. Free parking is available at the Hope Coliseum. Overflow parking is available at the Canady Creative Arts Center

Media members planning to attend one or both ceremonies should meet Shauna Johnson,  sjohns13@mail.wvu.edu, at the Country Roads Gate prior to the ceremony start times to receive required credentials.
