WHAT: West Virginia University President Michael T. Benson will make Mineral County — the home of WVU Potomac State College — the 30th official county he’s visited as part of his inaugural “Welcome Home Tour” across the Mountain State.
WHO: President Benson, WVU PSC President Jerry Wallace, WVU Health System officials, University students, alumni and supporters, and community leaders
WHEN: Friday, Oct. 17
WHERE: Members of the media are invited to join President Benson and President Wallace at the following times and locations.

NOTES: Once he visits Mineral County, President Benson will have officially traveled to 30 West Virginia counties in the 13 weeks since he became the University’s 27th president. His goal is to get to all 55 counties by next summer.
