WHAT: West Virginia University President Michael T. Benson will visit the next five counties — Boone, Gilmer, Lincoln, Logan and Mingo — and revisit others on his inaugural “Welcome Home Tour,” which is taking him to historical sites, business locations and local communities across the Mountain State.

NOTES: Once he makes these stops, President Benson will have visited 27 West Virginia counties in the 10 weeks since he officially became the University’s 27th president. His goal is to get to all 55 counties by next summer.
